I made a good getaway and was quickly along side the two ahead and tried to squeeze in between, witch was less successful when they both shut the door from each side. I was then forced to brake hard and lost several places down to ninth, witch was a pity considering my start. During the race I got up to seventh but had to constantly defend my position from behind. Finally the car behind chooses to get through on the outside in the fast Ascari chicane. I was side-by-side going in and probably he lost his rear, touched my right front wheel and spun. To avoid him I again had to brake hard. The car that was now behind me did then run straight into the car that just had spun ahead of me. The stewards got the conclusion that all this was my fault, so I had to pit and end my race there. This aside the G-Tec team, Coloni and me was very satisfied with my first debut race on Saturday when I was fourth and with the start of the second race when I was challenging for the lead with a good chance to win the race. I do now have very good offers to continue driving for Coloni in Euroseries 3000 or the new GP2 Asia series. Best Regards Martin Kudzak > Go to related photos In the 2006 season Martin Kudzak from Tyresö outside Stockholm(Sweden) were the youngest driver in the world taking part in a Formula 3 championship. In the British National Championship he recorded several podiums and a victory at Silverstone. Following his debut season in Formula Fords in 2005, in witch he have got up to the world top level in the category, Martin took the most aggressive career step taken by a Swedish driver in a long time for the 2006 season. With his fifth place at the Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch in October 2005 Martin also showed that he is developing fast as a driver. But still it is a big challenge in taking the step up to the highly competitive British Formula 3 category for 2006. In the 2007 season Martin Kudzak will participate in Carerra Cup Scandinavia in a Porsche 996 GT3 Cup. He has impressed everyone in the series with great speed driving against the faster 997 models, setting new lap records at several tracks for the Porsche 996 GT3 Cup.
